TRUE LIES: Binangonan Slice of Life

Over the next days, I will be posting some short stories that I had written in the recent past. My stories are all about real local people and sourced from the local gossip – it’s what they commonly call as "tsismis" in Tagalog. Now, since for the Filipinos, the word "tsismis" implies a negative connotation, I would like to call my stories as ‘True Lies: Binangonan Slice of Life’ - or ’semi-documentary’ as what writers prefer to call this kind of stories.
